Mossberg 590a1 Sights

I have a 590A1 retrograde with ghost ring sights,came that way but to be honest,i would have been very happy with a plain bead sight. Bead sight pick up very fast and for close range,work perfect.
 
I have a 590 with an upgraded Ashley sight. It looks good but in all honesty I would have been just as happy with the factory bead.

I had one before with the ghost ring sights and I did not find them an improvement over the plain bead. Pretty tough to beat a plain bead for durability and usefulness.
 
I have the Blackwater Edition, through a design flaw you can't elevate the rear sight high enough. I put a Vortex Sparc on it and used it for 3 gun for years. I'd like to swap out the rear sight for a ghost ring if I could find one that work with the super high front sight.
 
The one I have has the factory ghost ring sights and after using them I would have a tough time going back to a front bead
 
My 590a1 SPX came with the fiber optic front sight and removable (ghost ring) rear sight on pic rail. I upgraded my shockwave with an XS tritium big dot (very easy to track).
 
I have the 14" 590A1, factory ghost ring rear, Vang Comp front sight by Tac Ord with a Blitzkreig chevron front sight. Very fast to pick up but also a precise aiming point for longer shots. I hike with my dog and prefer to be able to place slugs accurately out to atleast 50m. 100 would be very doable with this setup.
 
My 590A1 Retro came with factory installed ghost ring and front blade which is awesome, but I still think a simple bead is faster.
