From what I've read out there (don't know anyone who has one) there seems to be a higher level of dissatisfaction with the Moss702 than other .22's. Check here:

Yup it wasn't built by Mossberg. A company in Brazil called Magtech built it and they call them 7022's down there. The rimfire site posted above has all the info on them, and were to get extra mags etc...do a search there.
They are like old British cars...some work a treat with no problems, and others are junk.
Luck of the draw really, and certainly no comparison to the Mossberg .22's of old which IMHO are still real solid and worthwhile shooters.
