Mossberg 715 magazine issue

im assuming your talking about the 25 round mag? are you using the speed loader, i know dumb question but have to ask. my mag gets stiff to load after 10 or more and some times have to bounce the spring with the speed loader tool to push it down. but always get 25 in there.
 
I found this with both of mine as well. When they were new it was difficult to get more than about 15 rounds in. After 10 or 15 uses they eased up, and now I can get 25 in, though the last 4 or 5 are still a chore, so I usually just load 20.
 
Just use the supplied loader. It's like loading the last few rounds into a pistol mag. Freeking hard unless you have gorilla hands or a loader
 
I have tried taking it apart, loosening he screws ect. I get about 11 rounds in then they are hard to load even with the loader. Actually they end up dented. Then when I take rounds out the follower sticks and rounds dont feed. I am going to try filing the bottom of the follower today.
 
When we got ours I thought it was pinned to ten rounds because I could barely get 11 rounds in it. Upon closer inspection I found that one of the magazine springs was not seated properly.

There is a spring basically in the metal piece that seats between the red follower and the black plastic piece that you pull down to relive tension I found that the top spring was not seated on that black piece allowing it to hang up where the metal piece meets the plastic.

Clear as mud... ?
 
Same as above file follower and leave loaded for o week also the more i use it the better it gets mine have about 500 plus rounds in each they r pretty good now last 3 or 4 still stiff but will go in......my bad more like 1000 plus.....cheers
