Just got back from the range with my buddy who bought a 715T. We tried sighting it in but couldn't. Nice groups but it was shooting way left. we adjusted as far right as we could but it barely moved it. At 25 yards, he was shooting almost 10 inches left. And maybe 8 inches left once we adjusted as far right as possible.

I'm thinking something's twisted? Any suggestions? We tried reseating front and rear sights, same results.

The plastic molding of the 715T body is pretty crappy to put it nicely.

I got a carry handle model when they first came out and it was few degrees out of line with the muzzle, with the included rail for the scope mount my optics would always be to the left.

I chopped off the carry handle, used an AR15 scope riser which clamps onto the body shell itself and now I have a perfectly zeroed rifle.

Did the sight really move? The rear sight adjustment is attached to the thumb wheel with a very tiny Allen screw. It can fall out, and when it does, you no longer get adjustment. The screw hole is at 12 o'clock on the housing if you need to put it back in.
