im looking at purchasin a .17HMR or some sort. the mossberg 817 caught my eye. overall a nice looking nice feeling gun. picked one up at a store the other day and told myself i had to have one. just curious if anyone out there who owns one or has shot one would care to offer up some opinions. it is a fairly cheap rifle found them for 200 bucks new at cedar valley hunting supply. so im hoping there arent to many negative things about it. so if you would please leave some feedback as to whether or not its something i should look into or leave on the shelf.
