Mossberg 835 Barrels

Does anyone know if there is a smoothbore slug barrel for these shotguns? I cant see anything listed on the Mossberg website. Also will the barrel from a 590 fit this seeing as though they use the same mag tube?

835's do have rifled slug barrels - smoothbore, I'm not sure.

The barrel from the 590 will NOT work as far as I know. THe outer dimensions of the barrel are way different. The 835 is essentially a 10gauge barrel inside and out, so a 590 one is VERY unlikely yo fit.

Never seen a smoothbore 835 slug barrel. Why not use the turkey barrel? If you use it you may have to replace the sights with some that have better adjustment. I was not able to set them properly for slug use on mine.

So I found a 24" cylinder bore with rifle sights, is it possible for us Canucks to order from Mossberg's website?

Epps had some a while back,think they were used and I bought mine from Cabales/SIR, new.
