Mossberg 835 vs 535

Whats the main differences between these guns. Is one better then the other? I have heard the 835 have issues in regards to chambering rounds. Also i heard 835 can't shot slugs. Is this true. I'm interested in them as a waterfowl, turkey, deer gun. I like how there are lots of barrel options.
Any advice would be appreciated.

The 835 has a overbored to 10 gauge size barrel and cannot shoot slugs unless you buy another barrel.

For around $315 you can get the 535 with 28" smoothbore barrel and 24" fully rifled barrel.
