Mossberg 930 C-SPX - 250 Unit Target

Hi fellow Nutz,

This was originally started in a previous thread Mossberg 930 SPX available here? and figured it needed its own home...

It has come to our (Mossberg 930 SPX fans) attention that the models with 8-shot capacity are no longer being exported to Canada. However, I have an email from a Canadian distributor mentioning an order size of 250 units to have a 5-shot model made.

This thread is an attempt to woo Mossberg into making a “C”SPX. The C is for :canadaFlag:. Perhaps we can have a JayWater version too... but I digress.

Not holding my breath, but anything is possible, I will be contacting Mossberg and them-there Canuck distributor to watch this thread periodically for our numbers. So, anyone who wants one and is patient enough not to care if it takes a year, hop on the thread list!!

Update 3 Mar 2013 - been away for a while - nothing new to add, bought a Mk III Target SS to help the wait. Will send another email but still not holding breath - however, been looking at a Benelli 14" Tactical as a sub. The TX4 I think will be above the $1k mark given its siblings. Will report back with new news if applicable. Cheers all!

Easy to get the 5 shot models. Can't we make our own?

Not if it's called "C" SPX.

I want it called 930 PEX -Polar Edition Xtreme.

I have seen youtubers in Canada with the 8-shot. Apparently, this came into effect about 6 or 7 months ago... So I am told.

I really don't care what it is called, I just want a model 85360 and then I will leave the world alone... until my next mission.

I suppose we could make our own from what you can get. But personally, I like factory (supposed to be a tried tested and true combination of features sort of thing). At least, thats what I tell myself.

When I was in Edmonton a week ago, I asked Milarm if they had sold any of the SPX's with the larger mag tube. The fellow there said they had in the past, but had to get them back and modified the tubes later. None since the initial batch though.
 
Jay, just one for me brother. Sorry :(

We do not have our dealer firearms license but I have made some inquires. No response yet.

We could really use one gun importer/dealer to step up to the plate on this.

Was the distributor North Sylva?

Had a 85360 in the cart as well, then saw your new thread ..lol I am jonesing for a shotgun so will go for a pump in the interim since this looks promising.

I have been in contact with North Sylva regarding this. Can't confirm they are the ones spearheading the purchase however.
