I had the tactical with the heat shield! fantastic shotgun. I just shot slugs and magnum 3" steel shots out of it, so I don't know how it functions with lighter loads. I would just suggest to keep the shotgun clean and it should cycle anything.
I recommend a semi auto shotgun to everyone. It is a intense experience rapid firing magnum shots - will definitely wake you up and make you wish for more. Crazy amount of firepower

How about this version? Price is 499.99 plus taxes and shipping. How well do they work? Considering a M4 is 2400.

I had one, it ran reliably on 3 dr. 1 1/8 oz. loads but I sold it because the short barrel and lack of chokes sucked for 3 gun. The guy I sold it to has had a lot of issues with it and has gone back to competing with his 590.
I've seen a couple 930JMs run well on light loads. The extra barrel length probably help with that.
I have the regular version. Awesome gun bit it does not like winchester target loads. Did fine with federal bit lots of failure.to eject with win stuff. Been tinkering with it and it is getting better with target loads. Never had any problems with slugs or buckshot even when the gun was absolutely caked in dust from riding on the side by side. All in all I give it about an 8.5 out ten

I had a 930 which ran good with hot loads but the low recoil and Winchester bird shot was really hit and miss. Sold it as I just considered it unreliable.
Edit: this was one of the first version to hit the country, not sure if they changed anything on them in the past few years.

That's a great price! The model I had was basically the same, but runs for a couple hundred $$ more. Difference is that there is no heat shield ( which I think looks badass) & no door breacher. If you want to save a couple hundred $ & risk not having the ability to breach some doors lol, then it's your gamble
Well that seals the deal for me, think ill pass on the 930.

I my be a little late to this thread, but I have a 930 road blocker( yes it does exist and no I couldn't find it in the catalog??) Bought it second hand at a gun show. This thing is a tank! It has shot any shell that I could stuff in it with no problems always went boom! The guy that I got it from used it for Coyote control in Ontario
