Mossberg 935 anybody got 1?

Did you strip your gun Wright down and clean it? I cleaned out the recoil spring tube, the bolt assembly and polished the chamber for 2 mins with a scotch bright pad and just lightly oiled the gun. I also cleaned the gas system spacer tube etc. :D

I think you'll be very happy with the 930, it'll fill your needs perfectly. So far I'm pretty happy with mine.

Overbored barrels can't be good for slugs, I imagine. But they give more velocity, less recoil, and tighter patterns for shot.

Overbored is slightly larger bore diameter than the 'nominal' gauge. Does several good things. Better patterns, higher velocity, lower recoil.

Ok thanks guys. I won't be getting another gun for a while, but if I get into duck hunting or skeet shooting, wouldn't one of these be perfect?

I don't understand how Remington can come out with a semi-auto that shoots some loads and not others, and get so much publicity? But Mossberg has a gun that will shoot anything and it's almost unknown.

Why don't people have these guns?

I think it has more to do with branding than anything else.

I'll see if Mossberg wants to do an ad campaign with me. "Grouse Man says: the Mossberg 930 is a GREAT gun!" I'm sure that'll increase sales . . .

Mossberg 935

My buddy has a 935 and we have shot almost every kind of shell out of it. We never did shoot a 2 3/4 though, We were told it wouldnt work but it sounds like it would from you guys.
Its a great gun, well built, looks good in the camo. It has never jammed on him yet.
Paying more for a Remington would only mean you have spent more money than if you bought a Mossberg.
Myself I would get the 930. 3.5" shells dont seem to do anything more than heavy 3" shells.
