I recently looked at one (black synthetic).

Overall, I liked it. The finish is OK. The balance is good. It has a number of desirable features. The price is attractive too :)

I undestand it will not cycle light 2 3/4" shells :(

Here are my question:

1. Where is the gun made ? in the USA or is it an import rebadged as a Mossberg?

2. On the barrel it says " not to be used with slugs". Why not ?

3. How good is it? I found very little mention about this shotty on CGN.

You know, every now and then, someone asks about this shotgun. I usually post some type of reply, but there aren't many who do. People are pretty outspoken here, so that would lead me to believe that not a lot of people have 'em. As far as semis go, I think that this is a great gun for the price. I have one in camo that I love. I even picked up a sweet canti slug barrel for it for not a lot of money. I've never been a big mossberg fan, but I definately like this one. You shouldn't put slugs through it because it is backbored. As far as I know it is US made. People cry and whine that it won't shoot 2 3/4" shells. It was never designed to. That being said, I hear that it will cycle some brands, although I haven't done too much exploring here. Mine's pretty much dedicated for slugs and Toms. Speaking of which... the countdown is on...
