Hey everyone. I've been looking for .22 that isn't a Ruger 10/22. A couple weeks ago I found the Mossberg Blaze 22. I love the overall appearance of the rifle, however the almost all polymer construction makes me a little weary of this .22. I do like to lightweight feature though being that it is of all polymer.

Does anyone here personally own or have shot the Mossberg Blaze?

Thanks
D

My wife owns one and luvs it. Very accurate. She likes as much or more than her 10 22 she has had for 20 years Has put a thousand rounds thru it no problems at all.

The US reviews are good. It all depends on what you expect out of it I suppose. If you expect a cheap but decent plinker/target/nuisance fixer that you also won't mind letting newbies shoot on then it's been getting great reviews.

If you hope for solid and top-of-the-line then no.

I bought one yesterday at Cabela's and it's VERY light, one of the lightest ones I own. 3.5 pounds, 16.5" barrel. The receiver is polymer but everything you need to be made of metal is so mostly, the plastic saves a lot of weight. Mine came with a Dead Ringer Green Dot sight and an extra 25-round magazine as well.

I'm hoping to take it to the range tomorrow and see how it does.

Honestly, if you get a chance to grab one, especially if it comes with the Dead Ringer sight and extra magazine, why not?
