Mossberg forend removal wrench

Hey everyone. I'm looking for a 12g forend removal wrench in Canada and not having any luck. Amazon has one for $40 which seems way too high. Has anybody got a line on something more reasonable? I know in the states it's a $10 item. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks

1⅛" spade bit and an adjustable wrench, or a fork.

^^^provided the nut isn't seized on the tube. Easily made out of the proper i/d pipe.

Find a buddy with snap ring pliers. They should work.

Get creative, save $$.
I made a nice one out of a 1" Schedule 40 coupling and a 6" nipple

Needle Nose pliers work also, with a long screwdriver sideways through handle for leverage.....clumsy but doable.

Or, order tool from Amazon, use it, return it...LOL, I'm sure it happens

I just use needle nose pliers the odd time that I need to mess with the forend.

Yup, and yes it works for the shockwave.

A 1⅛" or 1¼" spade bit works, hold steady and turn with an 8" or 10" adjustable wrench.

Yup, needle nose pliers has worked as well as a wood spade bit.
