Mossberg handle mounting optics? Answered post #1

Yes, yes they do fit and fit good. Nice and snug pics to follow.



I was looking at a scope for the mossberg I have and it says it mounts to ar-15 handle mounts. So can i remove the rail on the mossberg and mount it? Just like an AR? or is it different?

I'd email Vinzer and ask him to check. That said I doubt the Mossberg carry handle and an AR carry handle are the same dimensions but I don't know for sure. It does look kind of cool.

I was just looking at my Mossberg and I see that the optics rail is made by Tapco so it is probably a standard size so it would follow that the groove is a standard size. Yeah I saw that too, so I ordered it.

Everything I read is that it's a A2 handle, standard size I would assume.

Even if it's not right, it's only plastic and can be "adjusted".

I'll post up results/pics.
