Then they would pin them for 5rds. Rifle is designed and marketed to take AR magazines.

Ya, was wondering about that also. It appears to just double as the trigger guard also. Hopefully once the grip comes off the lower accepts a standard trigger guard. I would be surprised if it didn't.
