I am delighted to see that the MVP is working for you.
I have just bought 7 of them for the ORA Newbie shooting program.
The scopes are on but have not yet zeroed them or shot any groups.
They have each fired 4 shots of their break-in program.

Really like them. I have a Bushnell AR-223 4.5-18 on it. Would be interested in how they perform for your group.

So you're the reason I cant find one for sale anywhere, lol.
May start sighting them in next Saturday. I will post results.

I popped mine in an MDT chassis and it's a real tach driver. Nice to be able to teach/shoot and get acceptable accuracy with inexpensive ammo

Yes, will do. Going to chrono the loads as well and see how they compare to published.
I'm looking for a scope for mine, what did you choose for the ones that you purchased? Also have you had any problems with using plastic magazines. I have only one, a pinned Thermold from the early '90's and it doesn't fit in the mag well?
Ganderite, mine shoots very well, now that the "Barska" scope is off and a decent Leupold 4-14 is on it.
I also removed the bipod, which just gets in the way for the hunting I do. I seldom have time to set up the bipod and prefer to shoot off a shooting stick.
I couldn't get that cheap Barska scope to focus sharply at any range and the AO dial leaves a lot to be desired. Still, it's a great value IMHO.
My rifle doesn't seem to need bedding, YET. It also isn't fussy about bullet weights up to 72 grains or shape.

Same with mine. Got rid of the Barska and put the Bushnell on. No bedding done either.
Only mag I have used is the supplied metal one and an old P-Mag. Pmag works fine.
That's a great grouping. I loaded up the same round except I used nosler brass and was excited that I got half moa results. Found 24 and 26g charges worked the best with a 0.020" jump. What charge weight did you use in your loads if you dont mind me asking?

I'm using R-P brass and charge weight is 24grs.
Hmmmm, I have more than a .020 jump in my rifle. I can't load the bullets out far enough to get closer to the leade because of magazine constraints.
I have one of the ten round metal magazines but haven't used it yet. The P Mag isn't as easy to load but it works fine so far.

I'm using a MFT LAR-15 mag and loading to 2.250"
The blind magazine on the Sav model 12 has a lot of room for longer COL. I'm sure if you play around with different jump distances you can find one that suits your rifle. I've seen some pretty large jumps giving great accuracy.

So just a follow up. The load shot pretty good, but speed wasn't there.
