Hey everyone
So i've been looking at a couple new rifles for hunting and target shooting and just wanted to see some opinions on them.
First one is the Mossberg MVP Flex
http://www.mossberg.com/product/rifles-bolt-action-centerfire-mvp-flex-mvp-flex-20-sporter-barrel-scoped/27752?u_field_prod_caliber=7.62mm+NATO+%28.308+WIN%29@595&nodeRef=2768,3947&redirect=1&lastnode=1&filterNodes=3947
I really like this gun and its more tactical look with pistol grip and adjustable stock and the fact it has detachable magazine but since it takes standard .308 mags like those for the M14 as far as I know it can only use pinned 5 round magazines even tho as a bolt action it can legally use bigger mags. Not sure if there is a work around like with other mags like pistol and beowulf mags.
Second is the Ruger Gunsite Scout
http://www.ruger.com/products/gunsiteScoutRifle/models.html
I have looked at these in store and they are kinda short and really hate the stock and coloring it comes in but it also has detachable magazine but because they are ruger gunsite mags you can get 10 round ones easy.
Nobody I talked to has any MVP Flex in .308 I have seen the .223 version tho so asking around
Thanks
EDIT: Ok so some further looking around I found out that Remington has a new 700 tactical http://www.remington.com/products/firearms/centerfire/model-700/model-700-tactical-chassis.aspx Now that is pretty sweet you can't go wrong with a 700 and that is a very nice stock
