Finally they have come. Just picked one up today. I've been watching for them for a long time. Nice to see Mossberg got them to Canada. Paid 750 for mine with the scope and bipod combo.

Sorry cant get pics up .. Perry's great north gun and bow.. In Sault ste Marie Ontario .. Yes im too wondering about the big mags

The MVP uses AR-15 magazines. Says so in the manufacturer's literature. As a result, the largest capacity magazine you will be able to use will either be the 10 round LAR-15 mag, or the 5 round. 50 Beowulf that apparently will accept anywhere from 14-18 rounds, depending on who you talk to. Any unpinned standard 10 (other than the RRA LAR-15), 20 or 30+ round AR mag is considered a prohibited device and if caught with one will result in some pretty serious charges and legal consequences. It doesn't matter if you're using it in a bolt action rifle instead of an AR. As the law is written right now, if the MVP will accept the. 50 Beowulf or the LAR, you're golden.

I just took it out to see how it shoots. Im very surprised. Fairly smooth and after getting the scope dead on my best was 1.5 moa. Im positive after a bit and with some better loads sub moa. All in all nice gun .. I will be ordering some lar mags for sure.

Can't wait for the MVP 'patrol' to make it up here... even though it looks like it might be another year until we see it.

It has immediately transformed my friends south of the border from Mossberg haters with just one outing....

I rather not have that extra junk and save 200$ on the riffle... I hate when manufactures decide what to put for scopes on riffles...

It's too bad they advertised that it uses AR magazines. If they had made them gun specific, they would be selling 20-30 round magazines to Canadians by the boatload. :)
