Been looking around for one of these, curious if they're still in production or being shipped up our way. Haven't seen any in stock for some time.

Just been trying to find a bolt action in .223 with iron sights for some range fun but that layout seems to be rarer these days. Been running a CZ600 trail with AR style sights but I'm after something with a more traditional rifle layout. Iron sights are a must, not really interested in optics.

Thanks!

CZ 600 Lux has irons, although the rear sight is up on the barrel for a shorter sight radius than I'd like. There are a few pages on the Internet about arranging a peep sight on the rear scope screw holes.

I like my MVP/Patrol in 5.56/223 check ✔ If you can find one The price point is good.

A tad sloppy bolt - yes, however, it works fine and accurate with factory ammo - easy 1.5 and 1.25 + less moa. Reloads better ...Was only 600.00 or so when I bought it. Have a 1x8 ACSS Raptor on it. It's lightweight. Using 5x rd mags for hunting, but fine with 10/20 or 5/30s for other ...

I had one years ago. Accuracy was minute of barn door... barely. I'd rather get an Ruger American Ranch and have skinner sights installed. Or a Tikka Battue, or a Ruger Scout in 556

Yeah, I've heard stories on both ends as far as accuracy goes. I think what I'll have to end up doing is get a 700 action or similar and get a custom barrel done up with iron sights installed.

I spend a lot of time shooting military surplus rifles (Swedish mausers) and open sights. Just been after something a bit easier on the wallet to feed and I've already got a good stock of .223 to send down range.
