I do like my MVP LC in 7.62 NATO. Only issue is bolt was not smooth acting. But besides that I enjoy shooting it. At the range every Sunday with it.

You may be better served building one. A Mossberg MVP Patrol can be had for around $800, with a 16.5" barrel (not a bull barrel though). The MDT LSS Gen 2 is $400 and the Skeleton carbine stock is $130, or you can get a buffer tube, and MOE stock for around $100, $30 for an AR grip and add the scope of your choice. You could be set up with a nearly identical rifle for $1400 with out the glass.
I have a MVP Patrol and plan on adding the MDT LSS and Skeleton stock. Its a solid shooter and the bolt smooths out after a few hundred rounds. It also take 10rd AR10 pistol mags.

Not a fan of all mossbergs but I own a couple of these, hand load for both of them and you cant go wrong. Ive got the 5.56 LC which is a .25" tack driver with hornady 75gr over varget, I picked up an MVP patrol 7.62 just to use Ar10 and M14 mags.
The 5.56 version does have one weak part, uses a spring loaded flap at the bottom of the bolt face to pick up rounds from ar mags. If anything breaks its going to be this part.
