You can shoot foster type rifled slugs. Their made to go through chokes. Steel shot doesn't have the give lead shot has. It can blow the end off your barrel, or yard it right off. I've seen that. The best thing you can do, is take it into a gunsmith, and he can ream it out to a modified choke. A mod is safe for all shot, but not saboted slugs. Never shoot a sabot slug out of anything other than a rifled choke or barrel.

Don't shoot slugs out of it. It will bugger up your full choke.

You are talking out of your arse.:slap:

You CAN shoot Forster slugs out of a full choke, but not steel.

Steel pellets isn't as fluid as lead pellets.

What about the c lecta chokes? Anything you can't shoot out of a barrel with this on it? Steel shot?

With these types of chokes and slugs, make sure the choke is set to modified max as the pressures tend to blow off the choke from the barrel.
