Mossberg Shockwave vs Remington Tac-14

Can't decide which one to get. Don't want to order both and have one just collect dust. I'm leaning towards the Shockwave for the heavier barrel, better placed safety, and nicer looking fore end.

Who's used a 590 and an 870 to compare reliability, functionality, and enjoyability?

Shockwave, add the OPSOL 12 gauge mini adapter and you can run mini-shells, thus increasing capacity and lower recoil.

Mind you the TAC-14 in 20 gauge looks awesome.
 
They seem very similar, so maybe it comes down to brand loyalty. I got the Mossberg, cause at the time it was the only one available, and its great!

Heck, if you have the coin, get both and enjoy!

I was a long time 870 shooter. I shot about half a box out of a Mossberg 590a1 I was sold. All the odd things about the 870 the safety and slide release. Plus when you load the 870 with gloves on it catches on the shell lifter. Mossberg -Shockwave 100%........... I will never go back. Ever notice how the 590s are gone off EE instantly. 870 shooters are seeing the light. I did. Dont flame me 870 guys. I was once on your side

The EXACT same for me. Once an 870 guy, but tried a 590A1 and was sold! The controls are much more intuitive.

Nothing has changed until I see those and I can read them for myself ....

Can we get back on topic? Tac-14 or Mossberg Shockwave?
 
i wish it wasn’t true please read the previous posts on the group page here. the ones that have access to the FRT not the brokers one, but the LE version, has posted the document showing this. And he’s not the only one, Wolverine supplies also posted on this
