Mossberg stock interchangeability

Hi all,

Looking for a wood stock set for my synthetic 20ga Mossberg 500. I think it’s a 2019 or 2020 mfg. question is, are there certain generations of Mossberg 500s that won’t work with this one?

Also, will 12ga stock sets fit properly or does it have to be dedicated 20ga stock/ fore end.

The 20ga field wood stocks should fit it. You will need a new action tube as the wood is held on by a retaining nut and the synthetic is staked in

A 12ga stock should bolt on but it won't fit right. The 12ga reciever is wider than the 20ga. There will be a noticable overhang
