Mossberg tactical .22 help....

Hey guys, I put about 200 rounds through my mossberg tactical .22 when the firing pin broke in half. Got the replacement firing pin in today, installed it and found that there is alot of resistance like its stuck or something when I put it on. Question is is there supposed to be resistance when it's on or should it be hard to move(slide back and forth, lubed it as well). Haven't assembled it back yet, but wondering if anyone has any feedback? Thanks!
 
make sure all the broken pieces are out and make sure you haven't installed it upside down good luck i too would like to find an extra firing pin !!
 
Think I've found the problem, the firing pin needs to be filed down just a bit to allow the firing pin to slide without restriction along the retainer pin. Guess that what you get with a cheap gun lol..
