Mossberg Tactical 22 Sling question

Hey guys, i recently bought a nice Magpul MS2 sling for the Mossberg and realized that i have no swivel in the stock only a hole to put one.

Anyone knows the dimensions of the swivel that fits in there?

Newb question but its my first sling attemp give me a chance haha

I was thinking the same thing. It's sorta silly where they put the main one on the stock.
The only other thing I could think of was to get a longer bolt that holds the stock on and fab up a clip to attach the sling.
BTW how much was your sling?
I got a chinese magpul sling off e-bay for $12 including shipping and taxes.
The shooting range wated $68 bucks.

I ebay'ed it also, very nice quality, i was impressed.

They also sell all kinds of swivel just not sure wich one to get to do the job right.

I think the atandard AR-15 sling mount wont work with our because your stock bolts on, not screws on. I do like the ring style magpul ambi sling mount. I guess I could JB wield it on.

Where the heck would you mount it? I thought you where talking about a sling mount for a single point. Like most AR-15 it attachs where the stock is screwed on.

I've got a short loop one as the forward sling attachment for my SR-22 and it's working great so far. The picture doesn't show it, but it does come with both halves of the buckle.

Here it is on my rifle (it came with both halves of the buckle and I just fed the sling through the male end)
