How do you shorten the guard?
x2 ..Just called and was told the same thing. She said to call back tomorrow to get a tracking number.
You guys were making me nervous so I just called back again to verify they are shipping me out the 25rd mags and not 10 rd mags. They ARE the 25rd and got shipped today! So who ever u guys are talking too are incorrect. I'm calling Cabelas Canada.

I got my new spring Cabelas Canada catalog yesterday and it has the 25 round mags in it (part # 13492)
First reports coming back out of the states has everybody giving the thumbs down to them.
Apparently they "wobble around" and fit loosely in the rifle?
There is a YouTube video out on a fix for it though.....

Well, I don't know; I've talked to Cabelas here in Winnipeg, not sure what the deal is then.
Very simple... I cut it, then I glued it, then I used some car putty to take out the lines/grooves from the cut and then sanded it all down, after which I did the painting. Just like a plastic airplane kit.
Now I am looking for a fake muzzle brake.

I watched that video. If I have to modify it not to wobble around, I will. No videos on anyone shooting a 25rd mag. We'll have to post up some videos once we get them.
bought one last december, havent got a 25 rd mag yet, been running a fistful of 10rd plinkster mags. i love this little .22. only real grievance is with the mags themselves everyone i have bought beyond the first has required filing to get them to stay loaded in the gun. but then again every mossberg mag i've bought (.17hmr, .22)
