Their ad clearly states "..look and feel of the AR platform..." they were sunk from the get go unfortunately...

I talked to the western distributor and the factory rep on Tuesday and at that point they told me Non-Restricted so unless something has changed since then that is what I am going with.

Yea, I called up cabela's they say its Non-restricted, but somewhere else I saw that they were actually restricted

Wow...at that price, I couldn't resist and just ordered one too. It sounds weird, but I'm half hoping it's not as good a rifle as we're all hoping it will be. If it is, I'm sure going to feel bad for spending almost 2 1/2 times as much for my Ruger SR-22.
