Hi All,
I just got word from a good source that these are coming in mid October to a dealer near you. Non restricted, MSRP around $325-350, both versions available. I'm going for an adjustable stock one. I'm just not to sure about the A2 over A3 style and how well it will take optics.

I talked to my contact and he says there is NO review and these guns are and will stay NON-restricted. Also there has been a delay because of paperwork on the new high-cap mags but they are coming and they look like AR mags with a skinny end to go in the receiver like the S&W not skinny little bananas like the Ruger and 597 high-caps.

Tell him drugs are bad, ummkay?
this statement is true for all guns, at the whim of the RCMP or the government.by order in council.

Finally got a chance to take my new Mossie out for some fun today, good points and bad points found.
Bad - mag release is looking to be a weak point on this rifle, must be depressed to the limit to drop the mag and even then it would hang up a bit. I was worried that the release lever might eventually break off with a bunch of use, but, it might also get better as time goes on and it gets worn in a bit more. Other sticky point with me is that the sight had to be way over to the right by quite a bit to hit where I wanted to, kinda like my old SKS!
Good - For a cheap plastic gun, it sure shoots good once it is sighted in and it impressed me with some great grouping at both 25 and 50 metres! Not very experienced with peep sights but this gun shoots very well. I could consistantly put 10 shots into a 2" circle at 50 metres while shooting at a fairly rapid rate of around 10 seconds/mag. I'm not exactly marksman material either, which leads me to believe that if the time was taken, a better shooter than myself could pull off some impressive groupings.
It looks as if it has micro groove rifling though, which will need to be kept real clean, not as forgiving at my 10/22 or 9422.
For the money, it is a great deal in my opinion.
