Mossberg Tactical .22

They are restricted by looking like a variant. This has been beaten to death over the last couple years guys. THe RCMP have no business deciding something look dangerous, QUOTE]

Unfortunately, if this is the basis for gun classification, it is entirely up to the RCMP to decide if something looks "bad-ass" enough to classify it as restricted, so whats to stop them from re-classifying the Mossberg Tactical 22 as restricted in the future?

What kind of fake suppressor is that and how does it mount? I'd like to get one.

I have been happy with mine as well. About 1000 rds through it and no problems. Fed it every kind of .22 ammo I could find, including the remington subsonics and it ate them with perfect reliability. The first of any .22 semi I have ever owned that has done that and I have owned a pile.

Hello all.

Bought a Mossberg Tactical .22 back in late November from Cabelas w/adjustable stock for a grand total of $339.xx which included tax and shipping and their "handling" fee. I 'm on Vancouver Island in B.C. and the gun came from their warehouse in Winnepeg. Only took just under a week.

This gun is a ton of fun without breaking the bank just to say you have a "tactical" .22. Scale is pretty much 1/1 compared to a friends AR15. For looks, you definitely have to look at it twice to make sure.

Just finished running the first 500 rounds through it and have only had two bad ejections. That's it! Single shot or pulling as fast as possible it performed flawlessly. The only downside is Mossberg only makes 10 round mags and have not come across anyone making any larger. I have three mags now and will probably get another three if I can't find any big ones or make them myself.

Also, just put a 4x Center Point scope with Tasco rings on and now shooting golf balls has never been more fun!

Basically. Long story short. Fun gun for a not so stupid expensive price!

There are Mossberg 25 rounders coming, hopefully by the end of the month.
Kim

Note from Mossberg regarding 25 rounders:
Good morning Kim,
Thank you for the email. The 25 Round Magazine is presently being offered by itself. The SKU is 95712. They are coming into the Canadian market, but bare in mind that it is a new product and there is much paperwork involved in getting firearms and accessories across the border. You will see them enter the market in the coming months.
Thank you,

For all you other .22 Tac owner out there did any of you have the plastic stop(on the inside of the stock) crushed at the back/handle allen bolt (to the receiver) bcs the dumbasses at the assembly line tightened them past the limit ? I'm debating whether I should call Mossberg and complain about it, and see what they can do for me.

The plastic stop was crushed on mine too. Just got it today and im going to send an email. Also one screw stripped the plastic out on the carry handle with very little force applied. I barely tightened the thing. Overall the plastic casing is kinda crap. Someday i might have to just get a plinkster stock if i want to keep using it.
