Height of the scope mounted is pretty good in the sense that it isn't a big deal physically looking through it (although an added cheek piece would help). On the other hand though, I almost maxxed out the height adjustment on the scope. Still room to spare but , damn! Close.
 
I doubt they will fix them at this point, considering they are already released, unless the fix it with the newest model.

Well thanks to those mags, I'm leaning towards one.

Anybody compare one to a 10/22 with an Arch Angel stock on it? Does it feel cheaper? I hear the comparisons to it feeling like a toy, but just want to know how bad it is.
 
The new Tacticals .22's come with one 25 round mag. It's posted on the Mossberg website but not sure if there are any in Canada yet. Looks good but the mag from the videos looks very fragile.
 
I think if the mags didn't have a little clearance they would have lots of complaints about them not latching, least of 2 evils I suppose. Easily fixed at home I'm thinking.
 
These look like they may be a cool Rifle, i searched out some you tube reviews and the gun looks like alot of fun.It will be Summer before i pick one up due to other financial considerations at this point so i hope they are still available by then and Mossberg doesn't discontinue them.
 
Cabelas have the 25 round mags on back order for 24.99. Not sure if they had them in and sold out already? I ordered 5 and think the 24.99 is a pretty good price.
 
I picked one up today at Ellwood Epps. It was actually my first time there, and they were great. I put a TruGlo red dot sight and a forend grip on it. Really cool that it has the rails. It shot great, no malfunctions in about 250 rnds. Can't wait for the 25 rnd mags though, seems I spent most of my time reloading my 2x 10 rnd mags at the range. Well worth the money for what it is, IMO.

Just snagged one. Looks like a lot of fun but i want to wait for my 2 - 25 round magazines and cheap red dot sight i ordered from cabella's. I did a really good cleaning and it was dirty inside. I forgot to buy a .22 cleaning kit so my bore is so dirty. So ill be shooting a dirty bore if my mags come before my kit.

I want to shoot it now but i think itd get frustrating with just one 10 rounder.

-on a side note after i put it back together it didnt rattle nearly as much, only the sliding stock rattles now.

I really can't wait until the 25 rounders get released, I will snatch one of these for myself right away, just hope they aren't really crappy mags.
 
Does anyone know the Outside Diameter of the barrel at the muzzle? Thinking of budget flash hider options.

Looking at the John Masen 10/22 Flash Hider - not sure if it will fit.
 
Bob67, hey man they are released but they are on backorder I think, I ordered them off of cabellas website for 25 bucks each.

Timber, I'm gonna get some paint too, I like the way your rails look. I bought some cheap airsoft stuff off ebay to dress it up with.

I'd trade my gf for those 25 rounders right about now
 
Looking good, just got my 3-9x42 NC Star scope today, threw it on quick with my 1" high cheek peice its soooo sweet. Wish I could post a pic but I work too damn much. Will post when I can.
 
i just called cabellas and they said it could be up to a year for back ordered items..... damn,

that sr-22 is looking pretty sweet right now, so many different mags and they are available to canadians
