Mossberg tactical charging handle upgrade

I would like to upgrade my carry handle version to one of the fatter style of the newer flat top version.

I'd go with no, as the charging handle is just molded plastic and doesn't actually move. It's even split in two, for disassembly.

Action inside the gun is the exact same, no reason why it wont work.

I'm waiting on reply from mossberg service center about a recoil spring and charging handle.

Nope not referring to the charging handle that does nothing. No reason to change that one. I am referring to the actual charging handle that resembles a trigger poking out the right side of the rifle. I would prefer there was more meat on it. And before anyone else says it (that's what she said)

They are both "AR" style but I am referring to the carry handle version that has a much thinner charging handle than yours.

So you know this fake plastic handle is part of the shell, that it doesn't accomplish any function, that it cannot even move....and yet you assume that's the thing the OP wants to replace??

I think u can order the flat top charging handle from mossberg they have same reciever so it should wotk no prob the handle on mine is metel......

Funny the first 715t I got for the wife had the “trigger" shaped charging handle but it had issues with the magazine staying engaged so they swapped it out with the one in the picture. It is much better than its predecessor perhaps it is an indication of some kind of update from mossberg?
