Many thanks to my fellow CGNers for helping to make this happen (rifle and optic). Smiles all around.

I'm so stoked to get my kids out shooting- my oldest is 4 so not QUITE yet.

My neighbour has one of these, I've put a few mags through it- Once we got it sighted in it was pretty accurate at 100yds, all COM shots anyways. at 50 yds I (not an expert or even experienced marksman) was getting 3" groupings regularly from a kneeling position.

It's fun, I'll be looking for one for myself in the near-ish future.

Nice work, looks like the kids had some fun with Dads toy.
Heard rather mixed reviews on these guns. What are your thoughts so far?

Can't really complain. The issued rear sight is junk so I removed it. Other than that it functions well. Decently accurate for shooting pop cans with the kids. Will rim fires you really have to try a bunch of different ammo. I haven't bothered yet.

The new flat top version will likely be better. Apparently they are available now in Canada.

One thing that got me was the stock. They use CAR style stocks on all but some are fixed rather than adjustable. I switched my fixed for an adjustable off of my Norc M4. Works great.

When and where would the Flat Top version be available? If you have that information :)

After witnessing a case rupture with a Mossberg tactical, where the bullet lodged in the barrel, and a bystander was struck with shrapnel from the ruptured case, I would very much recommend the use of safety glasses.
