Mossberg Ulti-mag #835 comments ?

Hey guys,

Again, need comments on a shotty I saw for sale. (I'm shopping ). As the title says, Mossberg Ulti-mag #835, 3 1/2, 28 " barel. The guy is asking 375 for it.

Any of you have comments about that model? I heard some people say Mossbergs are cheapos, is this true? Keep in mind that it's some guys first baby. He might go for something better later on but it's just for downing some waterfowl or small game this year.

Is the price right?

How would it compare to express 870?

Good guns! There barrels are backbored to 10 gauge diameter giving better patterns. Finish is better then 870 express.

For $331 plus tax you can get a new wood 835.

Got one and I have to say I like it. Fiber optic sights front and back, ported barrels and the Length of pull is a little bit long for me due to my small frame but its the same w/ any shotgun form me. I got mine in a 26" got mine in max-4.
