I contacted S&J last week. They have the rem 870 bead and the XS website shows the same sku for the mossberg 500 and the remington so I asked if they are the same and he didn't respond.

This is typical, you just have to email every day for a week or two and he will eventually get back to you.

If you can't find another Canadian dealer, Brownells carries XS products, and the big dots are less than $100 so they will send them to Canada as far as I know.

You can get them for Remington beads that sit on pedestals, vent rib barrels, and plain barrels. If it's a 500 I'm going to assume you have a short barrel and you'll need the plain barrel version, but you haven't showed us what barrel you have, so we can't say.

I have a 20" barrel. Need the plain barrel version without the pedestal. 1ABNDT pointed me in the direction of a dealer with the remington plain barrel version. Apparently it can be modified to work on the mossberg 500. I ordered it and I'm just waiting for it to come. Now I just need the Mesa side saddle. I think I'll go with the 6 shot aluminum saddle. He also told me Mesa will ship direct. Doesn't look like anyone in canada has one.
