Mossburg 500 extra barrels

I was thinking of buying a Mossburg 500 and getting an extra barrel for it.Does anyone have any comments on the .50 caliber black powder barrel available for it.It sound like it would add a lot of fun quotient.

I don't think the ML barrel would be very handy, and you'd have to clean the action good due to blowback residue. I'd skip it and get a cheap inline ML.

its not worth it to buy a separate Mossberg barrel. a Mossberg/Maverick barrel is $136. you can buy an entire Maverick shotgun with the barrel for another $40, or another Mossberg for another $100.

either way youll enjoy the Mossberg, theyre a great gun.
