Hi all, hoping for some help here.

My wife recently purchased a Mossy 535 ats. While the waterfowl barrel is dead on, the turkey barrel is high....quite high. At 20 yards, the bottom of the pattern is about 10" high. I even shot some slugs through it yesterday (with a mod choke) and we were 12" high at 20 yards.

Any thoughts or suggestions? Should I be thinking of taking the barrel back?

Cheers, Footprint.

Is the bead on the turkey barrel lower than the other barrel?
My Dad once had a poly0choke installed on his shotgung and after than he could hit nothing.
He asked me to take it out and pattern it for him.
When I shot the gun it patterned low, very low.
This was because the front bead was 1/4" higher than it was before.
I told him he needed to install a rib on the receiver to offset this, and a 20 year mystery was solved.

I have the 835 but I think I may know what the problem is ...if it has the fibre optic rifle sight that snap on to the rib you may need to move the front sight closer to the end of the barrel ...mine got shifted by my gun boot and I encounted the same issue ......give that a try ...it took a friend of mine to notice that the sight had moved up about 4 inches ...I don't know why I didn't notice ...moved it back and everything was back to normal.
