mossy 590A1 mag ext ??

Is the Mossy 590A1 mag tube threads the same as a 870??

I am looking to put a 2 shot mag extension on a 590A1 18.5in model.

Hey I bought one from S&J, worth every penny. I had to cut the mag spring to fit the 2 extra rounds. Works great! Just need to figure out how to fit the 3 position front sling mount nice and snug. Can't fit the "washer" in place.

standard split ring tool.
Can pick them up from princess auto for $2-5 or crappy tire.
we dont install them from factory as some want them left hand or right hand, srtight down or not on at all due to weapons light.
