Most accurate .22LR under $750?

I love these threads, 91 comments and only 2 people can post a picture of the groups to back their opinions............

No problem backing up my choice .
I vote CZ455 varmint. This is my very first set of groupings with this rifle with sk std plus off a wobbly plastic fold out table.

I am going to say CZ 452 American 16.5" barrel . but then again you may not be able to buy one for 750 .its been a long time since I have seen one in the EE

I am not suggesting that this is "the most accurate" .22 rifle under $750, but it is certainly the most accurate .22 rifle I have ever shot that cost under $750 ($650 shipped):

5 round group at 50 yds

+2 on the btvs here are my ammo test results 10-shot groups at 50 yards on sandbags. RWS club takes the cake at 0.395" followed up by CCI SV at 0.53". Thunderbolt was doing surprisingly well but consistently suffers from fliers that ruin groups. Alright for plinking or 25 yard shooting and at $8.99 a brick (from the states 16 years ago) I really can't complain. Federal Gold Medal shot over an inch and eley club just under an inch. Recently picked up some RWS Target that was putting it through the same hole at 25 yards have yet to try it at 50.

To the Savage Btvss guys....

It's the only savage I own, but mine is .17hmr..... they are indeed deadly accurate....

Just wanted to point out that the .22 version is a terrible hunting rifle for anyone reading the thread.... thumbhole stocks and .22 don't go well together for hunting at close range purchases.....

BUT, if you want a highly accurate .22 out of the box rifle without partaking in a build, they certainly fit the bill......

Yes by the time you add a good scope and bipod, youll be at 12+lbs!
However the OP reads most accurate for under $750
This is one of the guns thats fits the bill.

I fully intended to buy a Savage bolt action when I gave my Marlin 81DL to my brother (it was our Dad's rifle and my brother has kids).

I looked at a Savage at Hubs and agreed to buy it and then made the mistake of asking to see the CZ455 while he was writing up the Savage................................

My first outing with the 455 and its ammo test. Shot off sand bags at 50 yards. I am not a target shooter and I am sure that with a better rifleman it could have done better.
