Each rimfire 22 is unique in it's ammo choice.
That being said, certain ammo types seem to work well across a wide spectrum of rimfires
The CCI standard velocity is one of these. The older Winchester Dynapoint was another.
Lately, I have had some great groups from ELEY practice and ELEY Club in several of my 22's.
My 541 S and T both like the old LAPUA Super Club, and the RWS Target rifle [Not Rifle match, which is considerably more expensive]
For rifles that have the capability, Match ELEY, RWS and LAPUA will generally do the best, but many regular 22's are just not accurate enough to exploit this high end stuff.
Trying several offerings will usually show up the best ammo in that rifle, but may be dismal in another, even the same make and type.
Regards, Dave.
