Most accurate and reliable .22 pistol

The whole Ruger lineup is so in demand that they can't keep up. A lot of us are in the same boat for wanting mags and just need to be patient.

If looking at the Ruger I'd recommend going stainless over blued. I own both and the stainless models seem to be slightly better made in terms of fit. Also they soak up G96 better. You really notice the difference when you go to put them back together after disassembly. Watch a YouTube video on how to reassemble to avoid wasting a lot of time.

The only difference between the MKII and MKIII is the mag release. The MKIII has the regular thumb mag release while the MKII has the older European style heel mag release. Personally for the minimal difference in price overall I'd opt for a MKIII.

I've fired the Browning as well. A bit heavier and a nicer stock trigger. I liked the Browning as well and would call it a toss up with the Ruger as they both have advantages. The Browning does feel like a higher quality pistol when shooting. But the Ruger shoots decent too.
