Most Accurate Black/Green Military 5.56 Semi-Auto Rifle?

The water gets muddied by limited production rifles like the SDM-R, MK12, C7CT and those countries using Colt Competition Shop ARs.

The accuracy of most general issue rifles is usually limited by the issued ammo and the low powered optics/iron sights.
I thought our issue ammo was pretty good considering the results, but match ammo, more magnification (for me at least) and shooting off a bag or bipod, and I bet the rifle, not me, but the rifle could have landed all ten rounds in that v bull at 500m.

i got 4 out of 5 groups under 1 moa in trinis challenge with my 18inch AR using factory hornady vmax ammo using a 4x scope.
it has only top shelf components
I believe that matters a lot since im not the best shooter, i actually consider myself quite mediocre, part and quality matters when skill is not present.
if you are an amazing shooter im sure you can rock a norinco just as well as i rock my noveske.

I do shoot competitively with a SAN in the SVV (Swiss Shooting Federation) and have shot my CC IUR, SA15.7 and SA20 as a comparison. With an ELCAN 3.4x I shot a 99 out of a possible 100 score at 300 meters (called the last shot). The best I could do with my SAN with a brand new barrel and Swiss issue x6 power DMR scope was an 95 score. Both using GP90 5.6mm service ammo.

Did you shoot them both off the mag or did you use the bipod on the SAN? I get funny looks when I go home and leave the bipod up. I much prefer shooting off the mag like we do here so nothing is touching the rifle from the receiver forward.

Everyone in the Tell Rifle Club shoots off bipod if shooting the PE/CG. All of our rifles are zeroed off bipods.

Those top end Les Baer AR's come with a 1/2" MOA guarantee so they should be added to the list of premium AR's already mentioned.

My choice would be a CC IUR for sub MOA accuracy from the factory; as I recall CC claiming their SA rifles were 1 MOA capable and the IUR's even more accurate.

However their are several top notch AR's many already mentioned that offer exceptionally good accuracy.

Funny how everybody brags about their colt Canada rifle but refuse to show any proof.

Maybe you should attend a service rifle match and get some respect for an excellent and very accurate Canadian made AR rifle before disrespecting others with your comments of poor taste.

I for one found the C7A1 reserve rifles to group very well and they were getting a beating on a regular basis.

Cheers D

I have being spoiled with my KAC SR15, when you step in the world of top shelf AR's, they all should be stellar, after the élections, a Les Baer AR could join my herd... JP.
