Most accurate glock?

Did a search and couldn't find a specific thread that would answer this question. i'm leaning toward getting a glock for my first restricted firearm (simplicity and durability appeal to me), but am not sure which model is the easiest to shoot accurately? i understand that the mini glocks would have a higher felt recoil, so i'm shying away from them.

I've shot a G34c and G17, but not back to back at the same session. I've had decent groupings with both, but am looking for other opinions on glock models to consider. Pros/cons etc? TIA!
 
The biggest factor in accuracy (assuming the shooter remains the same) is the sight radius, or the length between the front and rear sight. The longer that space is, the more accuratly you will shoot the gun.

That being said, Glock does make an extended version of the 17 (9mm), but I forget the number.
 
I think you'll find that the glock 34 is potentially the most accurate, but any of the glock pistols are likely much more accurate than the shooter.

I say without shame that my G17 is much more accurate than I am
 
You understand that the mini's have higher felt recoil, but didn't know a larger round would have more felt recoil, or a longer sight radius "longer gun" would give you more accuracy?

I prefer G34, SAME as G17, with better sight picture due to longer barrel (which should make it more accurate farther out due to more time in the rifling), with the bonus of the extended slide release, extended Mag release, and a Lighter trigger (3.5#) which I think will affect your accuracy more than anything "on the gun".
 
the most accurate Glock must be the Mod. 34 in 9mm...
longer barrel and slide, therefore a longer sight radius...
a shoting buddy of mine is convinced that his G 34 is his most accurate handgun.
He owns only the best (for my standards), like HK expert, high end Para's, STI's and so on...
I shot a G35 on several occassions, which is the same gun as the G34, only in 40 S&W. I think the 40 S&W caliber is to "snappy" for this gun with the "slide cut out" and therefore less accurate in my hands...
 
G17, 50 rounds @ 7 yards, rapid fire in a good day.

Hey FAQMAT.... where did you get that sleeve for the grip on your Glock? It it just a tire inner tube or did you buy it somewhere?
 
There's no way that's a Handall. I have owned Handalls before, and didn't care for them all that much. That looks to thin, no palm swell, and the texturing is absent. Which is why I like it :D

I am pretty positive that those bumps are just the finger grooves on the frame, and the Handall would show more of a peak in those spots.

Unless I am blind, which is possible lol
 
Massad Ayoob has stated on numerous occasions that he feels the G30 is the most 'accurate' of the Glocks.


For whatever that's worth.
 
I've also been told the the compacts or subcompacts are considered to be the most mechanically accurate of the Glocks. why I am not sure. Perhaps Piperdown can chime in.
