Most accurate ''Non-Restricted'' .233 Semi-Auto

I have only shot it a very limited amount, maybe 40rds since putting optics on it. After sighting it in at 300yds, shot a 5 shot group smaller than a quarter. It takes a little while to get the stock adjusted so it works for you but after that it is amazing to shoot.

300Yard/5shot/>1.5"
I'm impressed:eek:

Between the PE-90 and the Robarms M96, go for the PE-90.

I owned a M96 and while I liked it and it was a cool gun, the accuracy is better and more consistent with my PE-90 Classic Green. The M96 had a quick detach barrel which kinda hinders it's accuracy potential.

SKBY.

Well, I took the plunge on a gently used Sig... Reading my initial post to this thread, I think I came off a bit harsh regarding the cost of these things. Now that I have had more time to get familiar with it, I think it is the best option for a non-restricted semi-auto.

There are adaptors so that you can put an AR15/M16 butt stocks on the PE90 family of rifles. The Magpul PRS is nice.

HeadDamage- Please tell me more! This is what I've been looking for.

Any ideas on the pistol grip? Theres a sweet one with deep contoured grip from Royal Arms called the #ARG but its intended for the AR series.:(

I can't believe you got one! Good Deal.Where did you get it from?

I Bought it gently used off the board here.

On another note, I hear we almost need to hobble Longshot to have a chance on the rundown:shotgun:

I bet I could trade rifles with Longshot and he would beat me even worse ;)
Nah I doubt it.You tend to get comfortable with a certain rifle. With that said I will be shooting a C7 again this year.YAY!Last year I had to shoot the GB because there was no time to zero a C7.

223 non restricted

Ruger has a new target model Mini 14 which is supposed to be good for MOA out of the box but earlier Mini's do not have a good rep for accuracy. Has anyone tried one of the new Target Mini's ?

Too bad about the non restricted part.
I've been looking at a Les Bauer's Ultimate varmint rifle in .204.
Guaranteed 1/2 MOA at 100 yards or less. Also the same guarantee for the .223.

Maybe some day.

at the quebec provincial service rifle final i got 3rd place using my stock green clasic. there was 20 sommething guys competing and i was the only one not using optic...
