Volquartsen evolution would be my guess.

^^^ This, followed by a rebarreled ACR or Modern Varminter.

For .308 is would probably be a FNAR followed closely by a Modern Hunter.

Realistically though, you can build a bolt action that will kick all of these to the curb for half the price.

Not many choices available in Canada. I went through this a year or so ago. After reading, asking and handling a few of them, I narrowed it down to two rifles: FNAR and Modern Hunter.

The FNAR has a well established track records and most decently priced. Unbeatable value for the quality your getting. If money matters, your search is over.

If not on a budget and fancy AR-10 style and handling, ATRS Modern Hunter may be an option. It will cost you a little more than 2 FNAR but you have you'll have an exclusive Canadian custom made rifle. As it is relatively new, there is very little history and reports. Do factor in long waiting time and scarce supply of mags.

Because I could not decide on which , I bought both more than 12 months ago. The FNAR delivers and I still hurt for selling it to my nephew as a favor. I am still waiting for the MH, I was expecting it this past August. Looks like I will be hunting with the ole Sako this year again.
