most accurate overall powder in .223

I have never used anything but Benchmark in my .223's but in my quest for ultimate accuracy I have started to consider alternatives. (benchmark is very accurate but there may be room for improvement) What would you experts consider the powder(s) most likely to produce the tightest groups in any given .223. with a 52 grain match bullet. I realize this is highly subjective and individual guns like different loads but if you had to bet the farm on one or two powders........ what would you load?

I use BMark for my lighter bullet loads and Vit N540 with 75 gr. Bergers for long range. Would like to give reloader 10X a try.

All guns are different so there is no universal powder that gets the best groups.
When I look for powder there are usually 3 to 4 that work very well for most guys, I then try em.
There are so many other factors in accuracy i.e yours cases, bullets, wind, ect....
With the .223 Ive had luck with Varget and Benchmark.

I think that seeking "best" is the makings of a good fish story.:p

Gotta be the jig. You can jig it, cast it, troll it, hang it under a bobber, rip it, flip it, and fish vertically. There is no species of fish or depth of water that can't be taken with the right jig.

For vehicles, you are on your own.:D
 
I've never used anything other than Benchmark for .223, but that is the only caliber I have loaded for and the results were excellent. I had some nice groups and the fact that they weren't nicer was do to me being behind the trigger.;)
 
I tried Varget and then came across a recipe with 23.5 grains of IMR4064 played with it a bit and I am now getting 1/4" groups at 300 and 2 inch groups at 500 yards (calm day)with Nosler CC 69 grain bullets. I use a Savage 12LRPV 1in9 26" barrel.
I found the recipe on Hodgdon website.
