I came into a bit of cash and I'm thinking I would like to buy something known for it's accuracy. *Handgun*
Something maybe YOU have or have shot that was bang on everytime.
I've just started with pistols.... I'm a rifle guy, but I'm giving handguns a chance.
I could Google "Most accurate pistol in the world" but I would like to actually hear some feedback from you guys. (You guys helped me buy my first pistol)
And seeing as I have the ok from the wife to buy a nice handgun, I think I should do it before she changes her mind.
I thought this would be the place to ask for advice.

Price wise I am looking at 1-2k tops.
as for caliber, I don't want something too big... I don't need to be shooting a .500 magnum
Semi-auto, revolver, DA, SA, ugly, beautiful... whatever!... doesn't matter.
Thanks in advance and I look forward to reading what you guys/gals have to say.

SIG P210-8 9mm

Two guns that I have that are plenty accurate are my Sig 1911 Target and Glock 22 RTF2 with LoneWolf 9mm conversion barrel.

Maybe you should post this in the Pistol & Revolver thread.

Looks like they are between 3-5k... I will have to do some research :)

the p210s are definitely known to be one of the most accurate around. $2.5K if you check out Reliable or Wolverine. there is a new one on EE for $2050. can't believe it has lasted this long.

there should be a lot of match 22 lr/short pistols around that are at the low to mid part of your range.

I am looking into the p210.. It 's def something I am interested in.
The worst case scenario.. I don't like it.
Well at least I will have it in my safe and can trade, or sell it..

I saw a couple mark III targets at my local gunshop and I was tempted to get one because I heard they are great.
But honestly, I want something more expensive because like I said earlier.. If I don't like something about it I can trade or sell it... I won't get this chance to buy something nice very often.. lol

You haven't really said much about what kind of shooting you'd like to do...Olympic style .22 with custom made grips may be the most "accurate". As far as a fun combat style most people shoot CZ shadow well.
