I'm not at the point of constructing a Grand Unified Theory Of Handgun Aesthetics just yet, but the following really turn my crank:
Old 1911's built the way God and his Prophet John Moses Browning intended, with a lot of wear, that just reek of history.
Case hardened single action Armys.
Stainless revolvers with hardwood grips.
Oddly enough both chunky and sleek can work.
Things that do not turn my crank:
Gold plating, badly done scrollwork/engraving, big logos or lots of writing, grips in a material other than nice hardwood, Picatinny rails.
i'm surprised we haven't seen one of these on here yet.
