I'm looking to mount my leupold m8 4x onto my ruger american ranch 7.62x39 to use as my quading gun. I need rings to make it a bombproof set up. It would attach to the factory one peice picatinny rail. I dont want cheap, but I dont want silly expensive.

What do you all suggest?

ATRS is slightly more but “bullet resistant” in your price range are some of the best.

The real answer is “Bullet Proof” comes with a cost as $250+ is the price start point for rings and $300+ for cantaliver mounts.

For the scope and hun your looking to put it in the resistant option is probably enough before something else will shift or break.

The difference is one might stand up to vibration from a quad and a spill in the dirt, the other should/will stand up to a hard hit off a fixed structure or hard ground. Sage Dynamics has some great vids showing durability of different mounts and optics and what they will and won’t hold up to.

Some of the UTG pro models of late are quite nice, I haven't tired these particular ones with the grooved inside surface but there Pro model )made in the US) is bomber.

Here's the Pro 1" low but they are also currently out of stock...

Here's a picture of the made in US pro model in medium, low is probably what you want....

I have had good success with the Burris XTR rings. I think that they now sell for about $125, which is slightly above your budget. You might get them for less on sale though.

Burris Sig ZEE rings... 4 bolt cap... STEEL. And inserts so you can shim your scope for best zero and/or eliminate ring marks.

Under $100 per set.

PM or email.

I like the insert system they use but I prefer rings that can go on and off a rail by simply tipping it off instead of having to slide it along the rail like the Zee's.

Not an issue if you rarely remove the scope. The Zee's are well made though and probably a bit lighter then some of the other heavy duty options.
