Most compact restricted pistol?

The P7 is very small for a non-extended barrel restricted. I would say that a Glock 19 is very similar in size to the P7, though, and the Glock sub-compacts are even smaller, but both are thicker and chunkier feeling.

I'm sure these could turn into a sticky...

The HK P7 PSP is the most compact 9mm though the squeeze cocker is technically a single action only mechanism. Otherwise, SIG P239...

Bunch of prohibs in the EE with slightly extended barrels to be restricted class??

S&W shorty forty coming to mind.....

HK P7 is one hell of a expensive piece, Sig 239 tac on the other hand is a very ###y gun. if budget is a concern, this Ruger sr-9 to be a very small gun as well.

A bunch of small prohibs can be made restricted with the addition of a longer barrel but most of those look uber-ghey. The P7 PSP is about the smallest that looks more or less normal. As far as the cost - it's worth it enough to me that I have 2 of them and would grab a third if the price was right; I have a solid set-up for maintenance with spare parts and mags so it's probably the last pistol I'd sell...

For a DA/SA 9mm gun the Sig P239 is it. The P7 is really an SA gun with a great big grip safety, the Glocks are, well, Glocks and the Mak isn't what we'd normally refer to as a 9mm - it's a 380 or 9 mak.

Sig P225 cannot handle very high velocity +P rounds, slide velocity is too high. Also when the magazine lips spread a bit on that model, reliability is affected.*

Not an issue with Sig P239, which is slightly smaller and very accurate, like all Sigs.
