Actually, I find that my CZ 453 does not like Stingers.

Try CCI Subsonic HP's... they are very accurate in most of my rifles... to the tune of consecutive head shots on sharptail @ 100 yards.

Before le Baron close the business, i was able to pick up 2 bricks of Velocitor, 2 bricks of Stinger and 2 bricks of 22 WMR Maxi mag TNT 30 gr ( those are 5K rounds bricks ). I am good on rimfire ammo for a while..

My favorite are the Velocitor with my Sako Quad varmint is a 100 yards + rifle, this deliver 187 pounds of energy, Stinger deliver 191 pounds but dont group as good as the Velocitor in my Sako.

Actually, I find that my CZ 453 does not like Stingers.

There's a reason for that. The Stinger is a longer ammo than most .22LR. In rifles with a more generous or loose chamber, CCI Stinger will probably work with less issue.

According to CZ-USA FAQ:

Q: “Can I shoot CCI Stingers or long-for-chambering Sub-Sonic ammo in my CZ?”
A: Our 22 LR rifles are built to tight tolerances for increased accuracy, and our chamber is what other manufacturers might refer to as a ‘Match’ chamber. The tight tolerances mean overly long cartridges may not fit, so Stingers and some large sub-sonic loads will be too long to allow the bolt to close with ease.

Yep that pretty much mirrors what my cz and match chambered 10/22 shoot like with stingers.

I had heard that there is a similar problem with Stingers on old Cooey 60 and 600 bolt guns. Too high velocity jumps the lands and do not stabilize properly. Standard velocity or match ammunition works dandy. CCI Minimags are a bit too hot, so similar accuracy problem. The new CCI Clean Subsonic at 1050 ft per sec ammunition works well.
